About Us
Started in 2003 by two physicians, Helping Hands is headquartered in Buford, Georgia and serves in Bolivia, South America and Uganda, Africa. In 2013 the ministry acquired 133 acres in the remote village of Namuwambi, Uganda to develop the Village of Eden, a self-sustaining Christian community that will raise, educate and train disciples who follow Christ. We work to empower others who will produce spiritual fruit and physical sustainability through medical clinics, discipleship and education. When completed, the Village of Eden will provide a loving, nurturing home for 800 children.
In September 2014, HHFM will start construction on a medical and dental clinic at the Village of Eden. Stop by the HHFM booth to discuss short, mid, or long-term volunteer opportunities. Medical and non-medical volunteers needed.
